Hand wraps
Most adults want 180-inch semi-elastic wraps. 120-inch suits smaller hands and children; 200-inch suits large hands or anyone who likes a lot of knuckle padding. Semi-elastic is more forgiving to wrap badly than pure cotton, which is why almost every gym recommends it first.
Length
180 inches is the default for adult hands and gives enough material for a full wrist wrap, knuckle padding and thumb lock. Go to 200 if you have large hands or want more over the knuckles. 120 is a child's length and will not give an adult a secure wrist.
Washing
Wraps hold more sweat than anything else in the bag and are the usual source of the smell people blame on their gloves. Wash them after every second session, in a mesh bag so they do not tangle, and hang them to dry — a tumble dryer destroys the elastic.

We are not listing hand wraps yet. When we do, every one will carry the same thing our gis already carry — a verdict on whether it passes, checked against the body that governs your sport and dated.
